Islanders Move Up Again
So the Wild will pick in front of the Blues ranther than New York. In the process, Minnesota added some additional picks to beef up depth.
Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke wanted to steal the show to night, but former NHL goaltender Garth Snow keeps maneuvering for the Islanders. Oddly, he reached with that No. 12 pick to take defenseman Calvin de Haan.
Was any other team willing to take him in the top half of the first round?
TSN thinks not. The Blues can’t be disappointed about this, since that should improve their options here in a few minutes.
