Islanders Move Ahead Of Blues
That team really wanted that pick right ahead of St. Louis, which picks 17th overall in the first round.
New York moved the 26th, 37th, 62nd and 92nd pick for Nos. 16 and 77. The Blues hoped to add picks in this draft, but Hockey Guy is not sure the Note wanted to move down in the first round to make happen.
There will be some pretty strong centers to choose from, if the draft holds its expected form. Why not stress quality over quantity at this point in the rebuilding process.
