The ultimate hunting truck!
I am fully aware of the politically incorrect environmental impact of this Hercules of a hunting vehicle, but sometimes a guy has to dream.
I figure the Maximog would be the greatest outdoors transportation system a guy could have. It will probably go anywhere at anytime, and there’s enough room to bring every gun in the cabinet, several tree stands, dozens of fishing rods, 15 miles of monofilament, every lure in the Heddon line, clothing to protect me in every situation, food for 50 days in the wilderness, a wood burning stove, spare parts, a refrigerator, a freezer, enough ammo to last 45 full-limit waterfowl hunts, a fish cleaning station and probably a few buddies. Heck, I need to share this experience.
Of course, it needs accessories. I’m thinking about a night-vision heads up display, infrared lights, gun turret, satellite TV tuned limited only to outdoors programming and weather stations (sorry, Oprah), a UHF radio frequency repeater and a satellite communications uplink. But seriously, ditch those lame rims. Spinners should do it, but only if I can find them in Advantage Max-4 camo.
So count me in, but I’d like it in red, please. When heading to my next outdoor adventure people will think I’m driving a fire truck and get out of my way. I’ll be in a hurry.

I hunt and fish primarily in Missouri and Illinois, two wonderful states with great outdoors opportunities. I like to pursue waterfowl, upland game, deer and small game, and I fish primarily for smallmouth bass and trout on the fly.
Mogs are fantastic machines, just a little tall and a little wide for venturing into the woods around here. For around here, a 4×4 Sportsmobile conversion would be a great machine. http://www.sportsmobile.com
That 4X4 Sportsmobile is pretty sweet. I thought pop-ups were dead, but perhaps they’ll make a comeback.
This could also be a wonder vehicle for photographers!
