‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ worth remembering
Many years ago, I made the mistake of dragging my mom to see ‘Scarface.’ After three uncomfortable hours, it dawned on me that some movies just aren’t appropriate for your mother. “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” is one of them.
But for the dating crowd who isn’t easily offended, the film is a welcome relief from the drought of good romantic comedies. The H-O-F isn’t thrilled about anything else opening this weekend, so plunk down the $8 and have a laugh.
In his review, film critic Joe Williams gave the movie a B-. But because there are so many bad movies out there now, I’ll grade on a curve and give it a B+.
Just a warning, though. If you watch the video trailer above, it might ruin some jokes so resist the temptation if you are going to the movie.
