Southwest introduces Illinois One plane
Charles Williams
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Southwest has unveiled a new plane with a cool paint job. According to Southwest’s web site, Illinois One took six days to paint, using 26 people working three shifts. And it took 93 gallons of paint, including primer and 10 different colors, to complete the design. The plane looks sharp; let’s hope they have the recent maintenance issues behind them.

Watch this impressive time-lapse video and see how it was made.
