Silly Jilly visits Serendipity tonight

Hot weather and hot air can only lead to two things: Ice cream and Silly Jilly.

Balloon artist Silly Jilly will appear tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Serendipity in Webster Groves. She can create more than 200 balloon characters, including Pokemon figures, Mickey Mouse, Elmo and Spider-Man. Watch her perform her balloon magic while enjoying some of the best ice cream around town. Good summer choices include coconut, Gooey Butter Cake and blueberry flavors. The event is free.

Silly Jilly also will appear at Serendipity on July 7, July 20, July 28, Aug 18 and Sept. 1.
