The All-Star game is July 14 in St. Louis. Let’s show our out-of-town guests some Midwestern hospitality.

For fans who don’t have tickets, I’m constructing a map of the best places to watch the ballgame. We’re looking for local watering holes with great ambiance, good food, rowdy fans, and of course, cheap beer. Put you ideas below and we’ll add our favorites to the map.

weber’s front row in webster groves is a local favorite of mine, and i always love me some hot shots. worst place to watch a game: skybox on the landing. 8 million TVs and only TWO tuners?!?! they would not turn on playoff baseball for us because the tuners were in use.

i also like barney’s at hampton and chippewa. they prove that you don’t need expensive flatscreen TVs to provide a good sports viewing experience… just cheap pitchers!

Side Pockets in St. Charles! The best place in St. Louis for watching sports on TV. Great views from anywhere and the game sound is on. Ten Satellite feeds so no problem getting to watch what you want. Awesome food and drinks specials. Cute waitresses too!
