If you’ve been complaining about the cost–or content–of movies, you’re out of excuses. Wehrenberg theaters will be showing free movies all summer long on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, through August 14, starting today.
The first flick is Cuba Gooding Jr. in the unforgettable “Daddy Day Camp,” at 10 a.m. and noon. As I write this, you’ve already missed the Wednesday screenings (pity), but it also plays tomorrow.
Here’s the rest of the schedule:
June 11 & 12 – Barnyard (PG)
June 18 & 19 – Alvin & the Chipmunks (PG)
June 25 & 26 – Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium (G)
July 9 & 10 – Charlotte’s Web (G)
July 16 & 17 – The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything (G)
July 23 & 24 – Bee Movie (PG)
July 30 & 21 – The Spiderwick Chronicles (PG)
August 6 & 7 – Shrek the Third (PG)
August 13 & 14 – Horton Hears a Who (G)
The participating theaters are the Arnold, Des Peres, Galaxy, Jamestown, Mid Rivers, Ronnies, St. Charles, St. Clair and Town Square. Tickets are first come, first served.
