Did you watch this movie at all?? This is most certainly NOT a sequel to the Da Vinci Code. That was a movie about the lineage of Jesus Christ and supposedly His family and the codings left by Da Vinci revealing all this information. The current movie, Angels and Demons does not even mention Jesus Christ at all. It has the same character played by Tom Hanks, that is the only commonality between movies. A totally different plot and totally different movie. If this is considered a true movie review, then the P-D is truly going down the tubes.

The book “Angels & Demons” was a prequel to “The Da Vinci Code”; the movie is a sequel. If it has the same main character and the action happens subsequent to the previous movie, that is the very definition of a sequel. (Of course, as you say, it has “a totally different plot”–otherwise it would be the same movie!) But don’t take my word for it. Here’s what director Ron Howard says:
