Tickets for “Michael jackson’s This is It,” which documents the late entertainer’s rehearsals for his comeback concerts in London, are now on sale. It opens locally on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and tickets are available through the Wehrenberg and AMC web sites. But be advised, in Los Angeles, where a Regal theater will be previewing the movie Oct. 27 on all 14 of its screens, the 3,000 tickets for the sneak-peek screenings sold out within two hours.

“This is It” was compiled by Jackson’s choreographer and creative-partner Kenny Ortega from over 100 hours of rehearsal footage shot at the Staples Center and Forum in Los Angeles in the weeks before the “King of Pop”  died on June 25. (Ortega also directed the recent “High School Musical 3″ and is set to direct the remake of “Footloose.”)
