“New Moon,” the second movie in the “Twilight” teen-vampire series, opens Nov. 20, and the studio publicists are burning the midnight oil to conjure a bigger box office than movie #1. Trailers like the one below have been rolling out for months, and now it’s time to go for the kill. Unspecified cast members are set to embank on a nationwide tour of goth-friendly Hot Topic stores at malls in 15 cities.

Alas, St. Louis isn’t one of the cities. The nearest stop is in Chicago on Nov. 9. But 300 miles should be no obstacle for shape-shifting ‘tween “Twilight” fans.
