180 Energy Runners thrive in Kentucky Derby marathon

The 180 Energy Runners GOJI team of Michael Schnitzler, Jenifer Schaller and Emily Klockenga took first place in the open team challenge of the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon on Saturday in Louisville. The trio ran marathon times of 3:29:22, 3:56:17 and 4:27:07, respectively, a total of 11:52:46.
180 member Tom Whalen won the men’s master’s divition in 2:46:52, ninth overall in the field of 1,200.
