Complete results confirm Lyons’ victory in Memorial Day Run

Now, you can officially pat Brian Lyons on the back for his victory in the University City Memorial Day 10K. Complete results are posted, showing Lyons finished in 31 minutes, 19 seconds, 41 seconds ahead of Zac Freudenburg. Mairi Burfoot led the women across the line in 41:31; Natalie Kean was second in 41:57.
Dusty Lopez, coach at Webster University and a member of the 180 Energy Runners, took first in the 5K in 16:45. Jessica Flinn won the women’s 5L in 17:54.
More than 1,000 runners finished the 27th — oops, make that 33rd — annual race.
Just a minor correction that gives me an excuse to post, I guess: 33rd annual according to the library’s link on their website.
