Haskins finishes second to Olympic favorite

St. Louis native Sarah Haskins finished second to Emma Snowsill in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon on Sunday in Minneapolis.
Haskins’ time of 2 hours, 36 seconds was less than two minutes behind Snowsill who won the Hy-Vee Des Moines Triathlon at which Haskins qualified for the Olympics. This race was Haskins’ last before Beijing, and she pocketed $25,000.
The official web site has scant information, as did the Minneapolis Star Tribune and St. Paul Pioneer Press.
I guess most people are focusing on Beijing.
