Lopez takes Salmon Run

The St. Louis Track Club’s entry in the Fourth of July run sweepstakes was the Schnuck’s Salmon Run, a 4-miler in Forest Park. Webster coach Dusty Lopez, a member of the 180 Energy Runners, took first in 20 minutes, 20 seconds, followed by St. Louis U. High’s John Clohisy in 20:48. Michael Pandolfo was third in 21:15. Sarah Williams finished first in the women’s division in 24:22. Julie Bergfeld was second in 25:17 and Allie Baker took third in 25:59.
More than 200 runners participated, meaning that more than 1,000 took to the area streets to race on the Fourth.
