Big River Running’s Steph Hood wins Canadian cross country nationals
Watch Big River’s Stephanie Hood win Canadian Cross Country Championships
Stephanie Hood, a runner for Big River Running co., won the Canadian Cross Country championships Saturday in Guelph, Ont. Thus, Hood will represent Canada at the World Cross Country Championships in Jordan in March.
The organizers were a little slow posting the results, since they weren’t available Sunday afternoon. By the time you read this, though, the results could be up. So check here.
A little background on Steph: She is a native of British Columbia, a graduate of Principia College and now works as a graphic designer at the university. She finished 10th in this year’s Boston Marathon and finished the Chicago Marathon in 2:35:09. She also won the St. Patrick’s Day 5-mile here.
