Parkway Central’s Diane Robison earns All-America at Nike meet

Parkway Central’s Diane Robison finished sixth in the girls mile Saturday, earning All-America honors at the Nike Outdoor Nationals, an invitational high school meet in Greensboro, N.C. Robison ran 4 minutes 55.02 seconds.

She joined teammate Emily Sisson, who won the 5,000 meters Thursday, as an All-American. The pair teamed with Kathleen Thompson and Lauren Johnson, finishing seventh in the 4X800, in 9:07.06, just missing All-America status.

The other area athlete competing at the meet was Westminster Christian sophomore Daniel Everett, who placed 12th in the mile in 4:16.44.
