GO! St. Louis to stage Halloween 10K and fun run
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
GO! St. Louis has found the perfect niche in the fall running calendar to stage a new event, a Halloween 10K and Fun Run, October 18.
The distance is ideal for runners training for the St. Louis Track Club half-marathon a few weeks later.
It also would make a nice holiday bookend for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade 5-mile run, which attracts about 10,000 festive runners. Perfect for serious runners or the costumed goofballs, both of which are attracted to the St. Pat’s run as well.
Course details will be forthcoming, but the early best guess is that it will be staged downtown.

Not a bad idea, although there has been the Pumpkin Run 5K and 10K in Chesterfield at that time of year for quite some time.
