I stumbled upon this website and just couldn’t resist entertaining you briefly with this company’s specialization: custom made golf carts.

Now, you may say, “Sure, I’ve seen customized golf carts before, but some of these take the cake.

Bad Ass Golf Carts, a Las Vegas company, promises to hook you up with the cart of your dreams but it won’t come cheap. If you’ve got a few thousand dollars to burn, and you’ve run out of toys to buy, and you just got that multimillion-dollar bonus, or you’ve just won the lottery, this just may take your game to a different level. Slide into an Escalade, a Roadster or a Hummer. It can be built for you in as little as a week.

As for me, it would be real difficult to justify such a purchase at a time when the economy is suffering, auto companies are filing for bankruptcy and everyone is looking for stimulus money.

Besides, the Toyota Yaris, which probably could double as a golf cart (and has better pickup), has a cheaper sticker price.

There is actually a growing demand for golf carts due to more communities legalizing them on the roadway. I know a number of people that have bought Gem cars, and even some of the new ezgo and ruff n’ tough stuff. But for me, I would think it to be an insurance / liability nightmare being that they can not be insured from what I’m told.
