Work continues on rebuilding Triple A Golf and Tennis Club in Forest Park — and real soon you can expect the driving range to be ready for action, says Jeff Raffelson, the general manager at Norman K. Probstein golf course. Both courses will be under the same management.

His best estimation on when the range will open: “Between July 10 and 15.” As for the cost, Raffelson guestimates, $5 for a small bucket, $8 for a medium and $10 for a large.

The course itself — depending on the amount of rain we get this summer — probably won’t open until late September for limited use before shutting down for winter, Raffelson said. But come next spring, it will be fully operational. Raffelson promises that the 2,800-yard course will retain its early 1900s charm with contemporary accents.
