Here’s the scoop on St. Charles’ new scooper
If you’re playing in a scramble and you’d rather not get out of the cart or hang off to the side (my favorite) to retrieve balls that don’t make the cut, I’ve got news for you.
Out of St. Charles comes an invention called the “Scramble Scoop,” which looks like a butterfly net at first glance, but promises to scoop up golf balls with the greatest of ease.
The gadget makers say the scoop is
- Telescopic & has a durable aluminum handle
- Perfect angular edges
- Rustproof & lightweight
- Very affordable !
I guess it was only a matter of time before someone invented something like this. It’ll run you about 20 bucks with shipping and handling.
As for my take on it, I’ve got enough gadgets in my bag right now to add another one, and I sort like dangling off the side of the cart too much.

Hi, I have one and it works great! A video is available at the website too. http://www.scramblescoop.com
We have some of these because we like scrambles. They are great - easy to use - and it’s fun to whiz by in your golf cart and “scoop” up that ball - speeds up play. They make great gifts for a team at a golf tournament!
It sure saves my back and sides!

Have used one for years, got a second one incase first one broke-it never has. Used fasteners to clip it inside the top of cart above our head for easy access. Take second one on out-of town trips.
