Anheuser-Busch settles shareholder lawsuits
Anheuser-Busch announced today that it has settled all of the shareholder litigation regarding its pending takeover by Belgian brewer InBev. The settlement is subject to approval by the Delaware Court of Chancery.That’s one more domino fallen as St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch and InBev push toward the $52 billion deal. On Wednesday, A-B will release the results of stockholders’ voting on the proposed transaction. The voting is expected to be strongly in favor of the deal.
