Will InBev’s mystery board member please stand up?
We are getting curious, very curious, about who InBev is going to tap as the second new board member to come along with its purchase of Anheuser-Busch. As part of the planned $52 billion buyout, the Belgian brewer agreed to name two current or former board members of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch to its own board.
August A. Busch IV, currently chief executive of A-B, was the first person named. But that was a good four months ago, and InBev has not named the second person. As of this morning, a decision had still not been made, an InBev spokeswoman told Lager Heads. We will continue to poke around, but so far the silence from Leuven, Belgium has been deafening.

I imagine they’re waiting to see what happens with the Modelo relationship. If Modelo stays in bed with AB/Inbev you will see them represented on the board in the form of their current member.
I believe their waiting on Modelo, I assume Modelos President would get the membership if they come aboard, but thats to be seen,
