Thanks to Lager Heads readers
Many thanks to all the readers who weighed in on Lager Heads‘ recent posts regarding KSDK’s story on Anheuser-Busch. We appreciate the advice, criticism, attaboys…whatever. And thanks also for bearing with us when we published a bit of blunt opinion regarding the AIG situation. As always, we remain open to your debate and counter-points, even when you disagree. (Especially when you disagree.)
Lots of beer news on tap, which we will have to examine more closely tomorrow. Trade publication Insights Express reports that the U.S. beer industry - not counting imports - was down four tenths of a percentage point over the first four months of the year. Blech. Also, Anheuser-Busch is saying Bud Light Lime is NOT in a sophomore slump, but is in fact running above expectations this year.
