Many thanks to all the readers who weighed in on Lager Heads‘ recent posts regarding KSDK’s story on Anheuser-Busch. We appreciate the advice, criticism, attaboys…whatever. Lots of beer news on tap, which we will have to examine more closely tomorrow. Trade publication Insights Express reports that the U.S. beer industry - not counting imports - was down four tenths of a percentage point over the first four months of the year. Blech. Also, Anheuser-Busch is saying Bud Light Lime is NOT in a sophomore slump, but is in fact running above expectations this year.
