Lager Heads has one year under its belt. Thanks, readers.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Today is Lager Heads‘ first birthday. It has received 1.54 million hits in that time, ranking it No. 9 among Post-Dispatch blogs. They grow up so fast! Thanks to all the readers who have made our project a success.

Thank you as well JM. I know we give you a rough go from time to time, but I definitely enjoy this blog and the chance to vent.
Congrats, Jeremiah. This is also the first anniversary of my departure from my once beloved A-B. Although I left voluntarily, in early retirement, it was hard to walk away. Your stories and this blog have helped me to keep up with what’s going on at A-B, and what is happening in the industry as a whole, huge developments. Keep up the good work.
Anybody want to talk about brito RIGHT SIZING MCC corporate office.Heard 23 people lost there jobs. Hey, Les Carson why don’t you come up along side brito’s head with that big mitt of yours.
Yes, I have been a royal PITA. But my hits count, too! Congrats on the 1yr mark and the success of the blog.

as it approaches 1 year on the sale of A-B what have Busch father and son been up to in St. Louis? Any sightings of them? Reposts on what they might be doing…any involement in meetings at the brewery or with board members?
Happy birthday, may be next year at this time, we’ll have a brew
at one of the world’s longest bars, lower level of Kiel Opera House.
I just can’t believe it….these guys are set on undermining America: http://stlouis.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2009/11/09/daily34.html
While I typically avoid adjunct lagers, this one I make an exception for as it is a local favorite.
Nice smooth golden color with a scent of corn malt. The taste is very good for an adjunct lager, almost like a malty popsickle, strange way to define it I know, but very true. Smooth mouthfeel with a pronounced corn malt flavor and very little hop profile. This beer is way too drinkable. This may be the best example of a lawnmower beer out there.
Congrats on Lager Heads’ birthday! You’re a rock star, Jeremiah.
