Sadler re-ups with Gillett Evernham; Gordon re-ups with Dupont

Saint Louis Post-Dispatch

On the tailpipe of his eighth-place finish in the Coca-Cola 600, Elliott Sadler has signed a contract extension with Gillett Evernham Motors.

Sadler, he of bolgona burgers and helmet-tossing, has been with Evernham since the middle of the 2006 season when he left Robert Yates Racing. He has no wins with Evernham, but he has won three times in 333 career races.

Jeff Gordon, meanwhile, signed a two-year extension (through 2010) with Dupont, which has been his primary sponsor since he broke into NASCAR with Hendrick Motorsports in 1992. Gordon has won four Cup titles in the rainbow colours.
