Melvin wins third heat
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
Rodney Melvin, who won Tuesday’s night feature at Charleston (Ill.) Speedway, passed Dennis Erb Jr. on the last lap to win the third heat in by far the best heat race of the four. Steve Casebolt was third and Steve Sheppard Jr. ended in fourth. All transferred to the 21-car feature.
The fourth heat has begun.
