Ranking the Brickyard

With the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heading to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend, some commentators and drivers will describe NASCAR’s Indy event as perhaps second-only to the Daytona 500 in terms of prominence in the Sprint Cup Series.
But it seems that assessment also is offered throughout the year for other races, too: the Coke 600, Talladega and Darlington among them.
