NHRA returns to Gateway next season

For the 14th straight year, the NHRA will be at Gateway International Raceway next year.
The dates: April 30-May 2.
“We are very pleased to retain the same calendar weekend we’ve had for the last few years,” Gateway general manager Lenny Batycki said in a press release announcing the event. “It enables us to provide continuity to our fans and it’s been a date we’ve had a lot of success with.”
Several years ago, the NHRA switched to a spring date at Gateway to bring much-needed relief from the sizzling summer dates of past years.
