Let’s fix our own problems before saving the world
Less than a week after writing a good size check to the IRS for taxes I see on the front page an article about new immigrants. This is ridiculous! We give money right up front, sign them up for food stamps and offer free medical care. My mother who is in failing health and basically out lived her savings was turned down for food stamps because her social security check is $98.00 a month too much (they don’t take into account what she spends on medicine and supplemental insurance) My own health insurance just went up to $800.00 a month. I have been through Breast Cancer and I must have insurance even though I can’t afford it. The article says 60,000 more by the end of the year, what is this country thinking??? Lets fix our own problems before we take on all these other people’s problems.
