Dowd gets more hateful, spiteful toward Clinton

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The May 13th column by Maureen Dowd was her most hateful and vituperative column yet. She has become increasingly mean and spiteful in the past year, especially towards Senator Clinton. One can only imagine what’s going on in that strange little brain of hers but she has long ago passed satire and humor and has descended into hate speech. There is nothing in her latest entry that justifies its place in the Post-Dispatch. If I wanted to read or hear this vicious and cruel reporting, I would tune into Rush Limbaugh.

Someone get Mr Dalton a tissue for his crocodile tears.

Funny how you never hear a liberal complain about “hate speech” when even more outrageous charges are made against a Republican. Conservatives have put up with Maureen Dowd’s pettiness and intellectual dishonesty for years. The term “dowdification” was coined to describe her trademark method of omitting key words from quotes to place the subject into the worst possible light. But don’t worry, if Hillary Clinton can persevere under sniper fire in Bosnia, she can stand up to the likes of Maureen Dowd.

Why is a Hillary supporter taking such a pot shot at Rush Limbaugh? Without Rush, Hillary would have been defeated two months ago.

Mr. Dalton

Where were you when she and other libs were doing the same thing to conservatives? You weren’t crying then, so why now?

Hey JD….the answer to your silly question is obvious to 75% of American voters. The conservatives deserve it! The have nearly destroyed this country, totally alienated us from most of our allies, and have done so through lies. Get over it!….the so-called compassionate conservative, so-called faith-based Republican Party is FINISHED! At least in this coming election.

Maureen Dowd has always been mean and spiteful to conservatives, it only when she turns her talents against Liberals that the Liberals cry foul.

JP - You must be joking right? Our issues as of late are because Democrats and Republicans can’t get together and compromise on issues. And while I’ll fault Republicans where they should be faulted I’ll also turn my eye to the bitter discourse of the Democratic party that only serves to divide and alienate this nation.

70% of the American electorate wants the two parties to disagree but at the same time work civilly toward a mutual compromise on issues. Neither party deserves to be lied about and that includes your demation and lies. Lies didn’t get us into war, mistakes did. Mistakes took the conflict and compounded the problem. Lies did not. Get over yourself sir.

Once you see how tight the Presidential race ends up hopefully your eyes will be open that this is a moderate country that wants moderate leaders. Not people or leadership that will poo on one side to gain more power like you are trying to do. Neither Obama or McCain will win with 75% of the vote.

This will be another close year because people are truly torn between the two parties on issues. Mainstream America wants a new direction in Iraq, be it a withdrawl or a sustainable plan of action. They also want financial burdens lessened and they don’t rreally want $1 trillion in new taxes like Senator Obama proposes. So they are split and thats that. One party isn’t “eviler” than the other. Grow up.
