Israel-Hamas truce could strengthen Hamas

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

On June 18th, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Israel and Hamas reached a truce in and around the Gaza Strip. The government of Israel has agreed to this truce, based on the position that it is important to pursue every avenue that could lead to a non-violent solution, even if the truce may turn out to be fragile and short-lived, as has been the case with past cease fires signed by Hamas.

Israel withdrew all of its troops and civilians from the Gaza Strip in August 2005, with the expectation that withdrawal would bring peace to the region. Unfortunately, since the withdrawal, Gazan terrorists have fired over 8,000 rockets and mortar bombs at Israeli civilians, and many, including children, have been killed or seriously wounded.

The truce helps consolidate power for Hamas, a US-defined terrorist organization committed to Israel’s destruction, over the more moderate Fatah party, led by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Hamas and al-Qaeda are both military arms of a Salafist, monastic order called “The Muslim Brotherhood,” which views Islam as the world’s only legitimate religion and is committed to using violence to achieve systematic domination of the earth.

Israel will monitor implementation of the truce and will not take any offensive action against Palestinians in Gaza unless the agreement is violated.

The Jewish community of St. Louis prays for an end to the violence and peaceful coexistence for everyone in the region.

Don’t forget that Hamas has endorsed The Obamamessiah. The Obamamessiah has also been endorsed by JI (the Phillpine branch of al-qaeda), Chavez, castro, Kim Jong Il, Ahmadninutjob, and Gadaffi. Every terrorist in the world is head-over-heels in love with the The Supreme Perfect Obamamessiah. I wonder why?

1. Even they are hoping for someone with a brain to lead this country.
2. The vast majority of thinking people throughout the world support Obama as well and they are not terrorists.
3. They are smarter than you.

They support the Obamamessiah because they know he agrees with them. They know he’s one of them. They can count on him to do his bidding. The leaders of Europe are scared to death of Obamamessiah because they know he will roll over for every terrorist more often than a pig on a spit. They know The Obamamessiah will provide zero leadership in the war on terror.

By the way, four comes next.

If you don’t want to comment on the subject of the man’s letter don’t violate the terms of service and hijack every darned letter to be an anti-Obama diatribe!

It’s hard for me to see how a truce w/ Hamas will ever benefit Israel. It’s hard for me to see how the US’s showering the Palistinian slums with welfare for decades has done anything positive; quite the contrary. It has festered these people into a poisonous state of resentment. Weeks or days from now, the attacks on Israel will resume and we’ll dump another pile of “humanitarian aid” on them.

Here is an interesting story that won’t be reported in the PD:

Now I guess Obama is throwing Muslims under the bus because he has so many Muslim links. That room under the bus is getting pretty crowded.

Well that truce didnt last long, about long enough for one side to rearm and start shelling Israel again.
