“Don’t vote for a Democrat” billboards paint the wrong picture

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The “Please Don’t Vote for a Democrat” billboards in Florida that contain prominent images of the burning twin towers are not jonly grossly offensive, they also ignore the facts. President Bush took office in January 2001. The twin towers fell eight months later. The U.S.-led invasion and takeover of Afghanistan took two months. Accordingly, President Bush could have invaded and taken over Al-Quida’s home base four times over prior to 9/11. With those indisputable facts, how could anyone blame the Democrats for 9/11?

It is real simple Joe. They came in under Bill Clinton’s watch, which has been proven many times. It was planned under Bill Clinton’s watch. They attended flight training school, under Bill Clinton’s watch. Under Bill Clinton’s watch, the Twin Towers were attacked in 1993, and Bill Clinton did little or nothing about it.

Bill Clinton, was offered OBL on a silver platter on a few occasions, but always had some excuse for not taking him.

Bill Clinton had his mind on Monica, and getting BJ’s from her, instead of protecting this country.

Now Joe, you tell what indisputable facts you are speaking of.

So you’re suggesting that Bush was negligent in not invading Afghanistan prior to 9/11? And had he proposed such an action, you serioulsy think the Dems in Congress would have gone along? And if Bush was a fool for not invading Afghanistan between 1/20/01 and 9/10/01, what does that make Clinton, who did nothing about terrorism (USS Cole, Khobar Towers, African embassy attacks, February 1993 WTC bombing, Mellenium plot against LAX, etc, etc) for the prior eight years?

Joe Simon, and his ilk, are devoid of reason. They disregard the facts and use their alternative world view to form their conclusions. Their conclusions are based on the emotions of hate.

Robert Redford is right, when Osama Obama loses in November, the Donk/Socialist Part is going to implode.

Gorelick wall anyone? Jamie Gorelick, in her position as Assistant Attorney General erected a wall that prevented intelligence sharing between agencies. At the time, it was done to stop the investigation into Chinese/democrat campaign funds, it had the side effect of not allowing intelligence to be shared about known terrorists in the US.

Si Vis, quit confusing the Leftists with facts. They have their mind made up, facts be damned, that McBushy Hitler is Satan and you won’t be able to change their mind. After all, they are smarter than the rest of us, just ask them, they’ll tell you how smart they are.

I believe the burning towers, should be shown on all television stations daily, until we have won the war on terror.

How soon they forget.

Joe, I’m sure you are wise enough to realize that the ad is not about assigning blame, it’s about taking advantage of voters who don’t take the time to know all they can about the world around them. I think Karl Rove proved conclusively that if you take an exceptionally cynical view of the American electorate, you can win more often by going negative on the other guy instead of proving the worth of your guy. If you think think the current state of affairs is hunky-dory, vote for John McCain.

To all the Bush lovers out there:

It happened on his watch. He bears the responsibility. Period. His team went out of their way to silence and ignore anyone who had worked for the previous administration who tried to share what they knew. It’s documented. Deal with it.

It’s documented that they were more interested in Iraq than they were in OBL during the spring and summer of 2001. Why is that?

Well, except for the idiocy of hs, I believe the conservatives have facts and hs has feel good. As Bellum has already mentioned it was Jamie Gorelick who caused most of the problems, besides Clinton himself, and since it was under Clinton’s watch then Clinton wins the Grand Prize. Why is it that you liberals don’t like facts? I guess they get in your way, why use them, eh?
