Failing to see significance of Obama’s historic Berlin visit

As usual, right wing fanatics fail to see the significance of Barack Obama’s historic appearance in Berlin. Sure, world leaders have sallied about there, chit-chatting and even orating like JFK but never has a South Side Chicago community organizer been permitted to wallow in the undying adulation of goose stepping, sausage and sauerkraut eating Socialists. Austrian paper hangers with a funny little booger brush perhaps but not community organizers!

Photo opportunities abound for a fawning media. Imagine the presumed candidate doing a peppy polka in lederhosen and a Tyrolean hat. That’s enough to make people forget the goofy grinning Michael Dukakis astride a tank, wearing a steel pot with no liner and will certainly equal if not exceed the pompous landing on the deck of a moving ship sporting a flight suit.

He’s really not saying anything. It’s just the ole Sage’s manner of self abuse.

Don,

You forgot John Kerry in his NASA bunny suit.

And exactly what is a “pompous landing”? Sounds like a condo development in Paris.

Just some more grand standing for the media to cover as he has NO RECORD to stand on,many in Europe have been sucked in by the so called CHANGE as they have here in the US,just wait until tomorrrow when all his supporters start posting comments that are as far out of whack as he is. LS

This isn’t a hard letter to get guys. He’s mocking photo ops. The ideologues on both sides love iconic photo ops. Everyone wants that fantastic image. Both sides do it, and usually they come out looking goofier for it (see Dukakis on the Tank and the Flight suit). Obamas Berlin showing is supposed to further equate him with the second coming of JFK. Its an image he’s trying to snatch up. The left ideolouges will lap it up and pronounce his splendor among the “world community” while average Americans will see this for what it is. A reasonless photo op.

RCJ-

Obamamessiah isn’t supposed to be the second coming of JFK, that was Clinton. Remember all the “Return of Camelot” magazine covers in 1993? The Obamamessiah is supposed to be THE second coming, period!

Klaus and Frieda Uber-Ersatz were the first in attendance, standing in line nearly a full day before the Obama rapture in Berlin. Hordes of media community organizerphiles, including major network news anchors, surrounded them pleading for something positive to report and Klaus wasn’t the least bit shy about his praise. Pens scratched on paper and cameras did whatever it is that cameras do nowadays as Klaus noted Obama’s accomplishments, ending with the highlight, organizing disorganized communities in Chicago.

He punctuated his comments with a heartfelt, “If we had a community organizer in Europe at the start of World War II, those genocidal monsters would have been stopped in their tracks.” He walked away sheepishly when Frieda whispered to him that they were the genocidal monsters.

I believe that people whom have read my postings would not call me a right wing fanatic.

With that said I wonder if world leaders are not getting tired of Obama and McCain using them for their campaigns in the US.

Obama either is still on his tour or just completed it. McCain did his while the Democratic Primary was still going on. He stopped in many of the same places as Obama and then did a small tour through South and Central America.

I find this as ridiculous as the time Kerry went hunting. It is all show on both of their parts with no real substance. yet the leaders of each country are made to meet with them as if they are meeting for actual business, otherwise if they do not meet then the countries leader could be offending the next President of the US.

I just find this ridiculous on both their parts.

There you go jiggling your jingle again Sage. Just watched Sen. Obama’s speech from Berlin. He hit a home run there Sage. Great speech. Did you watch it? Great speech! Don’t worry if you missed it I’m sure it will be all over the world news for the next few days.

Amazedbythelunacy

It wasn’t what he said, it was that he didn’t stutter and stammer while reading from the telepromter.

Wow JD, nice teleprompter shot, right off of the Rush show. Take a laxative and see if you can come up with something original next time.
