Burke’s proclamation was not universally accepted
Colleen Carroll Campbell’s column about Archbishop Raymond Burke was interesting, but when she referred to his proclamation that pro-choice Catholics should be denied the sacrament of Holy Communion, she conveniently forgot a few items of interest.
Archbishop Burke’s proclamation was not universally accepted by the other bishops in the United States. Also, a national Catholic newspaper (the Sunday Visitor) reported in July 2004 that “Italian politicians known for their abortion views regularly receive communion from the Holy Father himself, and no fuss is made. The author wrote, “The Pope and his representatives do not choose to deny Communion as a proper means to combat abortion.”

Sto,
You have got to be either a member of St. Stanislaus Corporaton or St. Cronan’s or someone who has way too much time on their hands to grumble about Archbishop Burke.
Why do you continue to protect this soon-to-be former priest, Bozek?
Wake up and smell the coffee, Sto, Bozek came to St. Stanislaus for one reason and only one reason, to leave it in shambles and render it unrecognizable as a Catholic parish OR to just take it from the Poles and claim it as his own and make it into whatever might suit his grand design and allow him to wear that bishop ring he bought. St. Stanislaus is losing Catholic members, adherence to Catholic teaching is down and this guy Bozek is being paid a lot more than priests who actually support the teachings of the Church.
Lord have mercy on your misguided soul.
