Don’t be fooled by unfounded fear

Those who developed our Constitution undoubltly wanted to prevent one individual or group from having absolute control, so they created what they hoped would be a balance of power between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches.  However, no one could have imagined a power grabbing administration as we have seen the last two terms, with no accountability or oversight by Congress (always blocked by Republicans).  To state that  having a President and control of Congress by the same party is always a bad thing, is perhaps a means of duping voters into assisting some party ( when odds are against it) in regaining majority control of congress.  President and control of Congress was of the same political  party most of the last 7 yrs, resulting in the most secretive, power grabbing administration in the world. . No intelligent voter should use this criteria to vote or not to vote for an individual  in November.  This letter looked more like a political campaign ad, using fear to attempt to return to Republican control of congress, just in case the other party’s candidate becomes President.   Voters please become fully educated ,from unbiased authorities, don’t be fooled again by blatant unfounded fear.

More liberal platitudes. Was pres. Bush really more secretive and power-grabbing than the “leaders” of Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Hussein’s Iraq, Syria, and Russia, to name a few? Are you serious?

It sounds like you, LL, are the one spreading hysteria and blatant unfounded fear.

Hopefully, the majority of voting Americans have seen, or will see through the smoke and mirrors of the Obama campaign. If not, LORD HELP US.

“However, no one could have imagined a power grabbing administration as we have seen the last two terms, with no accountability or oversight by Congress”

I deeply regret that your “power” to chit-chat and fraternize with bin Laden and other al Queda members has been grabbed by this administration but as a small favor to us, please list all your other “powers” that have been sapped by this administration. (Your power of reasoning is obvious so it may be omitted)

I use to believe that balanced power in Washington was the answer, but seeing the reality of how the Republicans became so partisan, greedy and un-American, it will be a long time before such an idea will become idea in our future if ever again in our history.

How can this country ever become whole and healthy with such ugly campaigning as those that the Republicans and the Clintons have become famous for?

This is a big test for America and, the powers that be are busy, busy, busy, attempting and tempting the American people into failing this last big test for America.

I wonder just what powers has the Bush administration supposedly abused? None are listed, and at least the US hasn’t been attacked again as in 911,and none of my rights seem to have vanished.Obamma has been a part of,and supported a white hate group for over twenty years, refuses to pay allegiance to our flag when the national anthem is played and he is present, those facts are documentd by national news articles. Is it any wonder why a lot of us refuse to vote for or support him? Please D Walker…

Let’s not forget Ted Kennedy’s, Pat Leahy, Joe Biden etal’s shananigans in Congress (or the Democrat party in general). Their actions even lead to the creation of a new verb “to Bork”. Their record of partisanship & greed is at least as bad as you purport the Republicans to be…

Again, methinks thou doest protest too much…

“This is a big test for America and, the powers that be are busy, busy, busy, attempting and tempting the American people into failing this last big test for America.”

If I didn’t know better, I would think you would be referring to the media being in the tank for Obama…
