Women are being used and abused by the McCain campaign
Ms Palin was selected to capture the millions of voter who supported Hillary and the independent voters as well. She seemed to fit the bill for McCain’s plan because of her Governors experience, more importantly, she is “woman”. Albeit a novice and a string puppet. McCain’s choice is an insult to the women voters who are being asked to support her campaign. The move is condescending and assumes women voters are unable to form their own opinions on the issues and who, in their judgment, they should support. At a time when very strong support is required in the white house to restore catastrophic issues, McCain insists on this approach to get voters. (his record of accomplishments in the past 8 years is painfully obvious). He is an embarrassment to the political process and he is sending women the message of being second class, unable to make judgments, and do not know how to make an election decision. Ladies you are being used and abused.

You’ve got it wrong, why McCain has said he chose Caribou Barbie, because she’s ready to be president. And she is-she already knows how to only talk to her supporters and then go into seclusion from reporters, just like her role models Bush and Cheney. Why she’s even better, she can hunt without shooting a human being, from a helicopter or plane. She can avoid subpoenas just like Karl Rove. She’s got all the qualifications we expect in a republican. She’s even learned how to repeat lies over and over till they are perceived as truth or just ignored. And talk about firing up a crowd! I’d match her hate speech against Ahmadinijad’s any day.

Larry got it right. Did McCain really think Clinton backers would really gravitate toward Palin? They don’t look alike, they don’t think alike, all they have in common is they use the same restroom.
And by the way, Airball, McCain has admitted having several affairs while married to his first wife, then asked her for a divorce when he found a millionaire to back his political ambitions. You can look it up.
Hkchas, Yea, it looks like Obama is going to win. I actually like some of Obama’s ideas, I just happened to like more of McCain’s, so it’s not a big deal.
Believe it or not, BOTH parties have their good points, to name one: I like the democrats view of reining in fat cats and I like the republicans view of personal responsibility. Too bad we can’t have the best of both.
What amazes me is the viciousness of bloggers from both sides. Like Larry here, basically saying that a woman voting for McCain is a stupid woman. Larry doesn’t like McCain, I get it, but to get his point across he has to talk down to me? He doesn’t even know me but assumes I am voting based on gender, not issues?
