Billingsly, Limbaugh must have missed the last election

A distraught Rush Limbaugh loudly proclaims that he hopes the Obama administration “fails.” Z. Dwight Billingsly decries Barack Obama’s “socialism” agenda (”To go on offense, GOP must play tough defense”, Jan. 22). Billingsly still longs for more unabashed (unbridled?) capitalism, deep and permanent tax cuts, increased national defense spending, government policies crafted by businessmen and industry executives, and energy strategies that emphasize only oil, coal and nuclear power for the “foreseeable future.” He insists that the Republican party must declare its conservative principles to differentiate itself from the “competition” (Democrats).

Did these two arch conservatives totally miss the last election? While they fiddled and fantasized about the past eight years and their dream of a permanent Republican majority, the tide dramatically turned. The conservative ideas they loudly championed during the campaign were rejected by a clear majority of voters. How much more out of touch and irrelevant can these guys be?

comedian rush limbaugh is now the voice of the gop
how comical is that?

the gop got clobbered in the last two elections and yet their positions and auguments have remained the same…

uncontrolled capitalism…
permanent tax cuts for the rich…
enlarged national defense spending…
government procedures crafted by businessmen and industry executives…
energy strategies that stress only oil, coal and nuclear power…
take care of the rich and screw everyone else…
no compromise or conciliation…my way or the highway…
divide the country by race, region, religion, and material goods.

keep it up, gop…

like the pied piper…
rush, your new leader who you cheerfully follow…
will lead you down the road to disaster…

AGAIN!

and billibgly…

he’s just a joke.

Limbaugh didn’t miss the election. He was just a little too focused on that box of donuts at the time.

They could have. By my count, about 98 percent of the wild eyed loopies posting here failed to comprehend the results of the election too and are still strangling on their own bile because Bush had chosen a different way of skinning the cat.

Are you high or just stupid? Conservatives had no candidate in the last election, McCain was chosen by NE independents, democrats and the media, NOT by Conservatives. McCain was the candidate libtards told us to run, a wishy-washy moderate. Look what happened to him? He got trounced. Conservatives who voted for McCain did so reluctantly.

He was too focused on his bottle of Vicodin. I thought opiates were supposed to make people skinny.

No, No, No….Rush loves oxycontin. Remember how he doctor shopped to get his pills? Now, I don’t begrudge anyone that struggles with addiction. But when you are a holier than thou, everyone else is wrong, mud-slinging pig, then you get no sympathy from me. What makes the pig any different than a person addicted to crack? He has his own talk show.

Tom
You and your liberal asshole friends, are really good at twisting Limbaugh’s words. Why don’t you just try listening to what he actually said, and tell the damn truth for a change.

Morning Concerned

“You and your liberal assho** friends, are really good at twisting Limbaugh’s words. Why don’t you just try listening to what he actually said, and tell the damn truth for a change.”

Personally I have listened to Rush and find his stuff not only dim-witted, but on occasion offensive. One wonders if his supporters really undestand that Rush is a laughable big-mouthed dimwit whose claim to fame is his big mouth and not on his political or social acumen.

Rush’s penetrating insight is a laugh and no need to twist words my friend.
One wonders the fascination of conservatives with dope addicts, rather an ex-president or a buffoon.

Rush, the drug addict, who sent his maid out for drug runs, while the rest of us should pray for his recovery. He has got to be the biggest hypocrite with the biggest mouth in the world. Those who listen to this big phoney are pea brained simpleton’s who must be told how to think.

I would think it would help him having Obama win, it will give him someone to bash for the next 4 years. It blows my mind that people actually take him serious. He had everything handed to him in life! I would not even call him a comedian, more like a arogant big mouth immature baby. Why KMOX has him on the radio for 3 hours a day is puzzling.

I will never forget him mocking and making fun of Michael J. Fox. That was despicable and disgusting. Making fun of someone with disabilities is what middle school children do, not grown adults with a talk show.

He is a big fat rude pig!
