Pay attention: Conservatives are hoping Obama’s programs fail, not that Obama fails

Dear Editor,
Regarding the letter to the editor from Mr. Norman A. Selner printed in today’s (January 29th), Post-Dispatch, it appears he hasn’t been paying attention to what Mr. Limbaugh has been saying and Mr. Billingsly has been writing. Their comments have been they hope the current policies President Obama has proposed fails. They hope President Obama is successful if he proposes rational policies and programs. These comments are not at all the same. Neither is hopping President fails.
