We’re looking out for No. 1 first

Google “economic stimulus package.” You will see as I did that there are 3,190,000 websites that deal with all or various facets of the bill not the law as of yet!

Who can not find something to complain about or acclaim about? I can not comprehend the magnitude and far reaching complexities nor can anyone else!

So, what do we do? We become selfish and look out for US-#1 first!

Frankly, I do not care what might happen to my grandchildren down the road! I don’t have any and am 66 years old.

I’m selfish! I have no extended family and all 10 relatives who are all younger than me are working!
My family genealogy suggests that I will not live past 80 years old.

During the next 14 years I want what I want after working 55 years to get started, advance, and then retire.

Not being fed intravenously my last 5 years is much more important to me than what will happen to my children or grandchildren of which I have none.

So, look at the “Big Picture?” What picture? We haven’t gotten through the advertisements of the “economic stimulus package” that none of us entirely understand.

Do us all a favor…sit in your running car with the garage closed for awhile. That will guarantee you aren’t “fed intravenously” your last 5 years.

To The Moderator of this Board
.
My memory is that posters who recommended other posters commit suicide have been banned from these PD message boards.
.
As a result, I recommend you review the post by Amazedbythelunacy @ 9:49 pm March 9th, 2009, compare it’s content against the Rules of the Road, and take what ever action is appropriate.

There is no moderator on this board. The continued existence of SPP6118 is proof. I dare you to find a post from SPP in the last two months that didn’t contain a juvenile insult.

Boo hoo, he said something I didn’t like teacher. Can you ban him?

STL, give us a freaking break over your feigned concerns. I didn’t recommend he commit suicide. I just gave him a way to guarantee he wouldn’t be “fed intravenously” his last 5 years.

Now with 66 year old Mr. Bauer’s desire to NOT be “fed intravenously” his last five years and the impending financial collapse of Medicare, wouldn’t it be more beneficial to him and the healthcare system if he NEVER spent a day being “fed intravenously?”

STL: The same blogger you want to ban was attacked by a lib last week, and she “wished he would get testicular cancer.” Let me guess, you are not suggesting she be banned.

Lost in the Ozarks….

I have absolutely no problem with someone wishing me harm anonymously on a website. Anyone that wants to can do so and it wouldn’t bother me. They can call me names, hope I get cancer, suggest I leave the country, or suggest I put a plastic bag over my head and cinch it at the neck. It doesn’t bother me because I am a big boy and can take it.

Obviously STL is still a mommas boy and words, even anonymous words not directed at him, are highly offensive.

“The same blogger you want to ban was attacked by a lib last week, and she “wished he would get testicular cancer.” Let me guess, you are not suggesting she be banned.”
.
That was cruel but very different from encouraging someone to commit suicide. Wishing a poster get cancer is highly unlikely to result in the poster going out and seeking some means to get cancer, whereas, suggesting suicide to a poster on a board just might be enough to result in an emotionally unstable poster actually doing it.
.
and that would be tragic
.
.
So to answer your question, based on my reasoning above, no, I would not suggest the poster you mentioned be banned no matter what their political persuasion.
.
and just for the record
.
Please reread my post of 7:24am
My only recommendation for the moderator was to review the post by Amazedbythelunacy, and take whatever action the moderator thought appropriate.
