I was taught to believe God inspired man to write the Holy Bible. I have not found a reason not to believe that. I do not know the order in which all Bibles were written. I do know the interpretations of those Bibles have caused conflicts thru out History. Knowing that why, would I not believe that God needed a Nation of open-minded people, united to be an example for the rest of his World? Why would I not believe that God inspired man to write the Constitution of the United States? Up thru the Second World War, the last war we won on the battlefield, we were the most powerful and respected Nation to ever have existed. Nancy Pelosi is doing what our political leaders do the best and that is burying the truth. What she said is only important to keep us divided. The truth is No Political Leader should have ignored our Constitution and voted for the Iraq War. Although we sacrificed hundreds of thousands of our Bravest in the Korean, Vietnam Wars, they again ignored our Constitution and voted for the Iraq War. No one has been held accountable to their sworn duty to uphold our Constitution. I can see how God could be very angry with us. Ray Vance St. Louis |

It isn’t often that I agree with Al Gore but when he was shaking down Buddhist Monks for political donations from his Vice Presidential office after they had taken a vow of poverty, his accepted defense was there was “no controlling legal authority” regarding his outlaw behavior. Do you happen to have an Appeals Court opinion to cite affirming your charge of “Political Leaders ignoring the Constitution”?
If you are implying that the Iraq war is unconstitutional, I don’t know what reasoning you are using. The invasion of Iraq, Korea and Vietnam were just as justifiable as our entry into WWI and WWII. As for Pelosi, she lies just as good as the rest of the politicians. Worse yet, even though their duty is to serve the people, they lie for personal gain. They lie to get reelected and to strengthen their own personal power base.

This is barely a story on CNN and MSNBC-the reliable news networks so it must not be that big of a deal because they are not reporting it. CNN and MSNBC only report real news. Why do you think Pelosi lies? What is in it for her? It doesn’t make sense, think about it. You are just drinking the kool-aid given to you by fox news. These are lies just like the ones spewed by the right-wing about her harassing the military when they didn’t have G4 jets for her to fly in and the story about the millions of dollars of stimulus money going to her salt marsh harvest mouse. The Republicans have had their share of crooks, liars, and otherwise incompetents, even in congressional leadership positions. The difference is that they get rid of them when discovered. I am not sure this disgraceful, dishonest, bumbling conduct by the house speaker does not enhance her status in the democratic party.

I hate to be in the position of defending republicans. I once was one, but left the party in the 90’s when I thought we had a chance to do great things with an irrelevant democratic president, but stumbled along. Both parties are full of incompetent crooks. But, with Newt, Bob Livingston, Trent Lott, the party got rid of them and they were leaders. Don’t think Craig was much of a leader, and many asked him to resign. Same with Ted Stevens, despite having his conviction reversed, is so crooked they will have to screw him into the ground when he dies. I don’t think the dems have done nearly as well at getting rid of the rubbish, witness Cold Cash Jefferson.
