Can we borrow those Iranian vote-counters?

We need to employ some Iranians to help us count the vote in the Minnesota Senatorial race. Iran could certify their winner in less than 6 days and we can’t declare a winner in 6 months. In the meantime, the one senator is overworked and the citizens are deprived of representation. It is clear that the Republicans will employ any tactic to deny the Democrats a super-majority of 60 votes. Our Supreme Court intervened in 2000 to declare George W. Bush the winner of the presidential election. Should they do less for Minnesota?

6 months is more than long enough. Seat a Senator.

Doyle,
“It is clear that the Republicans will employ any tactic to deny the Democrats a super-majority of 60 votes.”

Sort of like letting Roland Burris keep his seat? Talk about a tricky Dick Durbin and Harry Reid flip flop. Here is a more appropriate spin to your statement: It is clear that the Democrats will employ any tactic to gain a super-majority of 60 votes!

Agree with you Doyle and tictac.

After many recounts that showed Al Franken the winner, it is time to accept defeat and move on.

Norm you need to accept the obvious and get another job!

Debbie, how many different standards were used to get Franken ahead? Count this vote, but not that one. Use this standard in a district heavily favoring Franken, use a different standard in districts favoring Coleman. I dont see how any logical person could look at the Minnesota Senate election and say it was handled properly or fairly.

Come on Doyle, how in the world are the Republicans causing this issue? I see, if there are problems then it must be the Republicans fault? Your side is so laughable. Just tell me, when is it the Democrats fault?

“Count this vote, but not that one.”

Si Vis, pull out the candidate names and substitute Florida for Minnesota and your statement could have been written in the 2000 presidential election. Let’s just let the SCOTUS decide who should be Minnesota’s senator.

Superdave you have puzzled me for a long time. Now I understand and applaud you. Good job and keep up the great work. You’re good, very, very good.

You democrooks are very adept at stealing elections, like the one in Minnesota. The party hacks used different standards for different areas until they arrived at the outcome they wanted. So much for one person, one vote.

It is also funny to point out how you tried to steal Florida away from Bush with partial re-counting and uneven standards and then you bitched for 8 years about how unfair it was.

You are correct. It was ALGore in 2000 who said recount this county, but not that one; recount this precinct in this county, but not the neighboring precinct. The Florida SC overstepped their legal authority in ordering selective recounts. The USSC court ended the selective recounting; the Florida Secretary of State had already delcared the winner.

I believe the Minnesota election to be fatally flawed. Ballots have been altered, copied, destroyed, lost, found. I think if the USSC were to here this case, they would toss the whole thing.
