One life is more important than millions of others?

Last week the paper ran an op-ed by Ellen Goodman titled “The myth of the lone shooter” about the inexcusable murder of abortionist, Dr. George Tiller. In her piece, Ms. Goodman asks PRO-LIFE supporters to denounce this killing.

I do.

Now do you think Ms. Goodman, will you denounce the killing through abortion of over 1,000,000 innocent, unborn children that takes place each year in the United States? Probably not.

Her position is that one doctor’s life is more important than all the lives taken in abortion combined. Sad… Very sad.

Mike,

Of course she will, but will also say something “enlightened”, like it is “between the individual and their God”. Or maybe that since abortion is “settled law”, right Debra, we can’t do anything about it.

Liberals make it up as they go along, which is why it is so easy to refute their arguments. Logic, meaning and truth are not applicable when arguing with libs, only the “ends” justify the “means”. Just like in communist China.

Mike Wallis,

You are a very sick-hearted man whose heart is very far away from God and far away from children.

Tell me, how is it that you are this concerned about 1,000,000 babies being aborted and have not yet lose your supposedly righteous mind over all the evil and injustice in our world including the evil that is behind Dr. Tiller being murdered.

How is it that you don’t realize what a sick and evil heart that one must possess to write what you have written in response to Ms. Goodman, asking us:

“Now do you think Ms. Goodman, will you denounce the killing through abortion of over 1,000,000 innocent, unborn children that takes place each year in the United States? Probably not”.

Your thought process and others who share this same attitude show us all that people such as you are full of hate and are nothing more than workers of iniquity.

Most of your attitudes about the murder of Dr. Tiller is this mind boggling and what you all are saying about his murder, (denouncing it) is the farthest thought from your hearts because you just as most of your ilk feel that the murder of Dr. Tliler was a good thing and that his murder is a victory for the anti-abortion movement.

The only true thing that you one’s misguided anti-abortion movement is accomplishing is that road which will lead to the destruction of organized religion making it difficult for ones who desire to worship God in truth and sincerity as written in Scripture. But, you pathetically sick-hearted people cannot see this or the fact that you ones are operating for the benefit of the devil and not what has been commanded of Christians.

When is our government going to do something to ensure the RIGHTS of women to have an abortion. The US Marshalls need to step up to the plate and clamp down on all the Christian Terrorists.

An eye for an eye is the only answer to life’s problems!
Got to love religious hypocrites.

Dear LTE,
How many letter’s do you feel are necessary to post on Dr Tiller and or abortion? Pretty please, with sugar on top, find a different topic.

Which man is responsible for the 350,000 innocent deaths in Iraq?
You want to play God?
Let’s start our evaluations with the man you voted for twice….
Because blood is on your hands too.

Sad…Very sad.
Let’s pray there’s not another religious hero waiting in the wings to fire a loaded weapon when your back is turned.

Mr. Wallis:

“Unborn children” is non-existent, contradictory term. So is the “Pro-life movement”.

The violence and harrassment against abortion clinics (of which Dr. Tiller’s cold blooded murder is only the most recent example) of Anti-Abortionists obviously do not care about the lives and rights of mothers, or the lives of people who do not agree with them (along with the lives of both gorups’ families). Their warped view that a fetus is somehow more important than living, breathing human beings has become a lawless threat to the Constitution and our great nation.

This is what is TRULY saddening.

Sorry, a sentence from above should read:

The violence and harrassment against abortion clinics by Anti-Abortionists (of which Dr. Tiller’s cold blooded murder is only the most recent example)obviously shows they do not care about the lives and rights of mothers, or the lives of people who do not agree with them (along with the lives of both gorups’ families).

OK, words are words. It is easy to SAY you denounce this ANTI-CHOICE whacko, but do you think his actions are justified? Do you secretly say to yourself, well its a shame he died, but think of the X number of fetuses that won’t be aborted? Do you say to yourself, well its a shame he was murdered, but he got what he deserved because he “murdered unborn children”?

If you do, then you’re justifying the actions of religous terrorist. Just like the Taliban or Al Queada, they justify their actions for the greater good, in the name of God, because they are morally superior.

Now, do yourself a favor and read the quotes from the Dr. Tiller’s murderer to the nutjob that killed the military recruiter a few days ago. You could virtually swap what they said and you couldn’t tell which person said which.

If you want to justify violence in the name of God, be prepared to labeled a radical terrorist.

Dr. Tiller DID not break the law. Dr. Tiller was performing legal medical procedures.
