Misdirected anger

A Sunay letter-writer, gail Joyner, wished President Barack Obama had been there for her nephew’s funeral. Her nephew was killed in action.
With all due respect and sympathy to Ms. Joyner and her family on the loss of her nephew in Afghanistan - she should have listed the previous president, George W. Bush, as the primary addressee; he is the one who initiated the Afghanistan incursion.  Mr. Obama has inherited the situation.

With all due respect, Little Tommy must be an ACORN wannabee.

It seems like passing the buck is the only talent Obama and his lackeys have.

Tom, is Obama responsible for anything? Obama inherited nothing, he sought the presidency. He wanted everything that is before him now. You need to stop whining.

And why did that evil Bush invade Afghanistan? It was in response to the 9/11 attacks by al-Qaeda. This wasn’t the first al-Qaeda/Islamofascist attack against the US, there was the first WTC bombing in 1993, the Kohbar Towers bombing, the Mellinium bombing plot, the USS Cole bombing, etc, etc. And what did Clinton do about all these terrorist attacks? He spent all his time soliciting advice from his Special Counsel Monica Lewinsky! Clinton was offered bin Laden on a silver platter by Somalia, and he said no!! Does any of this jog your memory Tommy?

perhaps then you might remember that the Dems control the White House and Congress. They can end this war any time they want. They could have refused to fund the Afghanistan and Iraq wars when they controlled Congress from 2006-2008.

The situation in Afghansiatn has only gotten worse since Obama took over. Obama has only met ONCE with Gen. Stanley McChrystal since putting him in charge of Afghanistan. Obama STILL hasn’t responded to Gen. McChrystal’s request for more troops. Maybe if Gen. McChrystal wrote the request in the sand traps of golf courses Obama visits then he might get an answer.

“The situation in Afghansiatn has only gotten worse since Obama took over.”

The situation in Afghanistan has only gotten worse since Bush gave up, pulled the troops and shipped them to Iraq to fight in another war he started. Bush started 2 wars and finished neither. Every president inherits the problems of the previous administration. How far do you want to trace this one back? Reagan’s Iran/Contra deal where he supplied missiles to the Iranians far enough? Yep,the same Iranian government that just several years earlier had taken over 400 Americans hostage and held them for 3 years and Reagan gives them missiles!

Afghanistan is Obama’s problem, he took the job. But let’s not forget who got us there. Our troops had the Taliban defeated and Bush let their valiant efforts, loss of life and limb all go for naught when he walked away from our troops in Afghanistan.

Good job Go Get’em!!! I couldn’t have said it as well myself. This old story of blaming Bush is really getting old and falling on deaf ears. So,
get a life and move on Thomas.

Tell you what…let’s let Bush be blamed for everything for as long as Carter has been. Let me see, that’s going on 30 years.

Well we all know that Obama is really concerned about those troops. After all, he has met McChrystal ONCE! Hey Tommy, your Prez is responsible now. It looks like he has no desire to win. and that means more of our soldiers will die. Let me see, Obama has been everywhere but he met the General once??? Can you liberals help me out here? What would you be saying if Bush had met his General ONCE?

Typical liberal, it’s Bush’s fault! Can you tell me what Obama is responsible for?

SuperDave:
Can you tell me what Obama is responsible for?

Yes, complacency and a total lack of experience. Either trust the General and give him what he needs, replace him, or provide an exit strategy. It would require a dialogue with the General of more than one meeting. These options aren’t popular to everyone; especially in an upcoming election year where he faces a whole slew of campaign promises he can’t keep. I’ll give him a pass on campaign promises because they all lie during the “process”. The campaign is over and he paid to lead,,,,,,,,,so lead!!!!!

bud

You can’t lead when your head is buried in the sand. Iran and Russia are running rings around “The Messiah”, because they know he is weak, just as Jimmy Carter was, and still is.

Selling our friends out, apology tours and trying to socialize this country seems to be his main goals.

To all concerned;

GW did all he could to visit our wounded warriors whenever possible. He also did what he could to pass on his personal regrets to the families of the fallen. To insinuate that BO need not show even the minumum of respect Mrs Joyner’s nephew deserved is inexcusable. BO is the CIC (Commander In Chief) and it is his duty to take responsibility for anything that happens, good or bad, during his command. This means from the first second. That is how the military operates, and they deserve a CIC that operates the same. He can’t take credit for a few pirates getting blown away, then turn around and dodge the Afghanistan issue. And I for one believe that Mrs. Joyner had every right to write the letter that she did.

An explanation of who imploded WTC building 7 on 9/11 would go a long way to determining the cause of that which you all argue. I’m pretty sure Obama didn’t implode building 7.
