Post-Dispatch should cover ACORN scandal
I’m a bit disappointed, but sadly not surprised by the Post Dispatch’s lack of coverage over the ACORN scandal that is brewing. Forget about the little fact that they are under indictment in several states, and have actually been convicted of voter fraud, how about the tapes that have come to light this week that shows them in not one, or two, but FOUR different cities advising a “pimp” and “prostitute” on how to avoid paying taxes, purchase a house, and oh yeah, illegally import and pimp out underage girls from El Savador. I think I saw some coverage in the St. Louis paper today on page 8. Have you no shame? This is a corrupt organization that has received $56 MILLION in taxpayer dollars the past decade, and is in line to receive another $7.5 BILLION in stimulus. This should be front page news. I’m ashamed of my hometown paper. You can do better, and we as subscribers deserve better.

No one cares about Acorn. Let me correct that, the only folks that care about Acorn are Acorn and the extremists of the right wing.
I’m a democrat and I don’t know what Acorn does, nor do I care.
The fact that the 20%-ers are having such a hissy fit makes me care even less.
Is there even an Acorn office in St. Louis? If so, are they one of the ones that were supposedly caught on tape? Anyway, what new news will the PD give you about Acorn that you haven’t already gotten from Fox, Rush, Lembeck, Hannitty, etc., etc….you know, the whacko media.
Like I said earlier, no one cares.

The “accountability” that White House flack Robert Gibbs says they take “extremely seriously” doesn’t extend to Team Obama itself — and the accountability they have evaded for pouring more than $800,000 into an ACORN front group for campaign advance work that was mysteriously re-classified as “get-out-the-vote” work.
As for the ACORN “advisory committee” that will “audit” the group’s illicit activities, I repeat:

had concerning their loss of tax-exempt status if the story leaked? The fact that they’ve been sitting on this information since July?

The more I have thought about this, I say put these Acorn Workers under a lie detector and then under oath to see it something like the bribes concerning the jurors in the Jamie Auffenberg’s tax case.
The more that I look at that video, I see a person acting who knows that the camera is on her and even the other in the room.
Just like the entrapment, injustices and brides against of Jesus, these type people who loath you will stop at nothing to bring you down, if they can’t do it fairly then they will stoop to anything under the sun to do it. I put nothing pass this Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh ilk. They are truly the Pharisees.
I think everyone will be shocked if they gave these Acorn workers a lie detector test and the placed them under oath. Do a great investigation and lets see where the chips truly fall. If I am incorrect, I will certainly apologize for even thinking such an awful thought.

What’s in my spirit may be off but, I would certainly check it out and turn over every stone and rock within legal means to explore and learn if this Acorn Worker was apart the set-up to bring down Acorn.
