The pope should stay out of Anglicans’ lives

Why can’t the Vatican just keep out of Protestants’ lives? If Episcopalians want to convert to Catholicism, I’m sure they can figure out how that works.

Europe is largely Catholic, yet very few Europeans attend church with any regularity. Maybe the Pope should work on getting his own flock back to church instead of trying to steal from other faiths. Protestantism began for a pretty good reason.

What???
He is out of their lives. He just said that, “If you want to become a Catholic, given your conscience, you can.” How’s that “in Protestant’s lives.”

Fascism has left the Obama campaign and come to religion. It’s contagious.

Yes, Phil, Protestantism began for reasons that are about as illogical and un-theologically sounds as the reasons you point out in your post. And by the way, he’s not ”stealing” from others faiths. He’s opening the Church that Jesus founded to those who want to return to the one, true Church.

So what happens when the Anglican gay priest or the woman priest or the Anglican gay couple decide to become Catholics? Are Catholics giving a test and only letting in those people they consider “worthy”? I thought Jesus loved everyone no matter who or what you are. Interesting that a bunch of men sitting around a table makes up rules and regulations and decides who can be in their church when God is the only one who really knows what’s going on.

There is NO one ‘true’ faith. ALL faiths are part of the infinite wheel(or whatever you wish to call it), and the wheel cannot turn with only one spoke.

Believe what you want to believe; just don’t try to force your beliefs on me. If everyone practiced this principle we’d all be much better off.

How about the Progressive Humanist Socialists stay out of religion.

The Catholic Church is merely offering the Anglicans an opportunity. Any Anglican is free to accept the offer provided they accept the teachings of the Catholic Church instituted by Christ.

Catholicism is seeing its numbers shrink to all time lows (with few exceptions).

Think of religion like the cable company. Aren’t you fed up with all their rules and ambiguity about what you get in return for what you give? Cable company keeps raising their rates, but I keep losing channels. Now things are even more confusing with the digital switch over. Hmmm, what are the satellites companies offering? They got a better deal for me?
