Dodd’s proposal to regulate financial sector is necessary

Senator Dodd proposes massive overhaul of financial regulation. This issue effects  and should be welcomed by all Americans. Who would not want accountability and transparency of Wall Street, Banks and the Federal Reserve?

The proposal already faces Republican opposition and has been criticized by the banking industry. This is no surprise, these are the type of issues that we all must pay attention to. We must demand our politicians to protect us from the economic disaster brought upon us from the same people that are trying to protect themselves. One need not look any further than healthcare reform to see who opposes this to see who is against what is good for our country.

When we pay attention we can vote for who is doing the most for the people, we voted for change in November, 08! The Obama administration has proposed  changes and the opposition has come out in force thru townhall meetings, tea parties etc. Does it matter the information that is good for Americans has been twisted around to make it sound as if President Obama is evil? It should and the voters need to remember who put us into the mess we are facing, anyone who thinks President Obama caused the current problems needs to search within and remember that  only one year ago he was elected. The problems he inherited he is dealing with in a manner that is showing positive signs.

—Talk about putting the fox in charge of the hen-house.

—Dodd and his banking-committee buddy Barney Frank are the two people who did more to foster the economic meltdown than anyone. They were the ones in charge of regulating the banking industry, and steered the ship into the iceberg.

—Listening to him again on this subject would be kind of like putting you, Steve, in charge of telling us what to think about the problem.

Steve Belosi:

“Does it matter the information that is good for Americans has been twisted around to make it sound as if President Obama is evil?”

I sure didn’t twist it to make him sound evil, they must have found out some other way.

Steve: How can you, or any ObaMaomaniac use the work “transparency” with a straight face? I tuned into all the CSpan channels I have, and did not see the health care debate. Wasn’t that one of ObaMao’s promises? Instead, they will not even release the bills for review until they are “scored” by the CBO. Your entire letter is, of course, nonsensical. But the final sentence begs for explanation. You wouldn’t want to elaborate on the “positve signs” would you? Perhaps it is the miscalculation of jobs by 6.3 million. Remember, he was going to create 2.7 million jobs if we handed over $13,000 per family of four for the porululs package. We did, he lost 3.6 million jobs. Isn’t 6.3 million about the population of Missouri? By this administration’s math, that probably is positive sign.

Is Lake St. Louis in Fantasy Land?

The only thing that is going positive for the country, is that “Your Messiah’s” numbers are going down.

You must be !@#$ing! Dodd, of all people, ought to be thrown in the grinder, not noosing the rest of us. There must be some reason that these crooked politicians have staying power - and Steve not knowing how crooked these guys are is a great illustration.

Only a lunatic liberal overlooks Chris Dolt’s shenanigans with Countrywide and puts any stock whatsoever in this corrupt clueless clown.

Thanks Steve, for posting one of the most insane letters ever on this site. You had lots of competition. I used it for my radio show. I read it word for word and tried not to laugh too hard or throw up.

Thanks for your utter stupidity! It was perfect for my show!
