Tea partiers have a perfect target right here in Missouri

Please go after JoAnn Emerson in next year’s Republican primary.  She’s voted to expand government healthcare for poor children, her husband is a Democratic attorney, in St. Louis, and I even heard she once shook a union member’s hand.  Her moderate voice has no place in Missouri Republican politics, and now that the race in New York seems to have started a purge of anyone to the left of Ayn Rand, Rep. Emerson seems to be the perfect Missouri politician to count coup on.  Oh, will you be serving scones?

You three libtards are correct, the GOP should listen to you on who to run. The DNC is the same party that is ready to hang Joe Lieberman for deviating from the Party line.
The “R” candidate in NY23 was endorsed by King moonbat Kos himself; stating that she was farther to the left than the “d” candidate.

Ayn Rand doesn’t fit into this rotten cultural spectrum. That’s not the same as saying republicans are to the left of her; it’s that nobody grasp individual rights anymore.

Glenn,

I do not recall any “Tea Parties” for the NY23 district. Mostly what I saw was people rallying against Senators who were sent to Washington to vote for their constituents and subsequently did not or were not planning to.

The GOP captured two very critical governorships this week, even with Obama and Biden putting their political capital on the line. This was a wake-up call for both parties for 2010. We’ll see who rises to the occasion.

Both parties have gone through purifications and purges. Lieberman is a good example on the left with Arlen Specter on the right. With candidates too far out on the political spectrum, they lose the middle to the least absolute value voter. That is, they vote for the least scary on either end. It’s the good campaign that is able to define the opponent as being to left or too right.

Correction, before Dr-Spellcheck crawls out of his coffin to make a point without making a point. I am aware of the difference between the preposition ‘to’ and the adverb ‘too’. I just made a simple typo.

NJ was a loss because Corzine was an arrogant fop and a flop. BUT, after Obama came to Corzine’s aid, the guv almost pulled it out after having been down by 30 points!

In VA, the far right wing racist fascist homophobe neocon “Republican” ran as an Obama clone and won! The Dem, Deeds, was a loser who ran against Obama and lost badly! Obama still has majority voter approval in Virginia!

NY was dismal for the GOP where the Tea Bagger supported by Rush, Hannity, Palin, and the rest of the far right loonies and drug addicts lost. The 23rd elected a Democratic Member of Congress for the first time since 1856!

The California 10th was easily won by an Obama supporter.

Yappers, 2010 will be better for the Democratic Party than 2008!

No!
Don’t tell me she actually shook a Union member’s hand.
And has concern for children’s healthcare!

What kind of a Republican is she?

Maybe the Union member was a NY Firefighter who climbed the stairs at the World Trade Center in 2001….
But still! Uhugggg. She actually shook his hand? Gross.

Keep up the good work Glenn.
We need more Republicans like you.

How about someone with some sense going after Lacy Clay? What has the Clay family done for their district? The neighborhoods continue to deteriorate. They don’t bring any real jobs into the area. How about finding candidates that listen to the people in their district. How about actually doing something to help improve their district. Both teams have some really bad members. Tim needs to go back on his meds. It is clear from reading all his stone throwing at Rush, Hannity, and Palin. Do you have any more cute adjectives you want to throw at the Governor Elect of Virginia?
