Using fear to divide and conquer

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

History has taught me that fear-mongering has always been the most effective weapon in dividing and conquering. That is why I believe the last Bible that God inspired man to write is the Constitution of the United States. God needed…

How does 41 now beat 59?

St. Louis Post-Dispatch
I have just one question about the healthcare debate and the now permanent threat of filibuster. If we live in a democracy, why is it that in the U.S. Senate, 41 votes now beats 59 votes? Can anyone seriously defend that?

Scott…

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

If you haven’t noticed the GOP is for Corporations and the rich, not us working class people .

A Republican was in the White House for 8 years before President Obama. Did he even think of health care for Americans? No.…

Wilson’t outburst is latest in series of outrageous acts

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

I am writing to comment on Representative Addison Graves “Joe” Wilson Sr. (R-SC).  At a joint session of Congress on the House floor, Representative Wilson interrupted an address from President Barack Hussein Obama by shouting, “You lie!”

If Obama is guided by the blue dogs, he’ll do OK

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Thus far, the Obama presidency has provided many entertaining ironies for political conservatives.  To name just a few:

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Cap and trade really is a tax scheme

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

So the STL Post has the knowledge to pronounce without doubt that global warming is a reality. You are right and all who disagree are wrong. That is startling since the scientific community is not yet convinced. Even at that your suggestion…

What’s in store when the federal government controls health care?

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

The federal government already controls insurance affecting 25% of the population.

Those programs are indisputably bankrupt. they are totally mismanaged as well, underpaying providers 31% (per cbo) and plagued with fraud (self-admitted).

If the Obama/Democrat administration’s concepts are actually certain to be…

Just let us have a choice in health care

St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Why won’t Republicans and many Democrats in Congress let us decide on whether or not we want to enroll in a public health insurance plan.  Those Americans who want to keep their private insurance can do so; let those of…

As long as we’re renaming political parties …

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

So, the republicans want to call the Democrat party “The Democratic Socialist party” now?

Well, maybe the republican party could be renamed “The Republican CEO Party” or “The Republican Corporation party” since they’re always on the side of big business…
